ARC is in need of Organic Radiochemists, Biochemists, and Analytical/Preparative HPLC Chemists.

Experienced Organic Radiochemist

Salary: Competitive with full benefits

Ideal candidate should have 5-10 years experience in multi-step radiosynthesis using carbon-14 and tritium. Candidates with experience using carbon-13 and deuterium will also be considered.

Applicant must have extensive experience in multi-step, small-scale organic radiosynthesis. Vacuum line techniques with ability to handle, purify, and transfer small amounts of volatile chemicals under vacuum.

Biochemist

Salary: Competitive with full benefits

Ideal candidate should have 5-10 years experience with enzyme extraction, biochemical synthesis, gel electrophoresis; purifications by EP, TLC, and paper chromatography.

Analytical/Preparative HPLC Chemist – Radioactive

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Ideal candidate should have experience in both analytical and preparative HPLC.

BS in related field required, M.S. or Ph.D. preferred.

American Radiolabeled Chemicals Inc seeks Group Leaders, Analytical in St Louis, MO

Job Duties: Research and development of analysis and purification protocols of radioactive compounds with reference to Tritium and Carbon-14 but not limited to 32P, 33P, 35S, 125I and Radio-TLC, Isotopic dilution, specific activity determination by mass spectra and tritium NMR. Purification of radiolabeled compounds by paper electrophoresis. Chiral purification of non-natural aminoacids. Utilize Laura lite and Ray test software. Supervise analytical lab work flow. Work with the team to help meet deadlines, troubleshoot and implement evolving quality and radiation safety standards. Participate in meeting to fulfill requirements of clients by discussing possibilities. Provide updates on progress and project completion timelines.

Job Requirements: Master’s in chemistry or related field. 3 years of experience working with radiochemicals. Experience working with chromatography and spectroscopy techniques and equipment.
